Hexer, the volatile new EP from Richmond, Virginia-based metal/hardcore quintet MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION, is out now on all digital platforms through Creator-Destructor Records, who is preparing for its vinyl release in early May.
Blending New Orleans heavy metal stylings in the vein of Crowbar and Down with energetic hardcore sensibilities made for the dance floor, MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION has captured the attention of audiences from across the heavy music spectrum though their constant live performances as well as on record, including prior output through Triple B Records, a collaboration with Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe, and more.
The Hexer 7” delivering three new crushing MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION tracks rooted in themes of anguish both inside and out, paired with groove riffs and wailing vocal melodies. Hexer was engineered and mixed by Jordan Faett at Soul Craft with vocals tracked by Marc Estabillo, the songs were mastered by Sam Deyerle at Studio Florens, and the EP is completed with cover art by Caleb Good.
