Amongst the Tombs of Fallen Heroes Off into the winds we have gone. Like the ashes from the fires of our sons. Prayers for wars yet to be won. Struggling before the setting of the sun. Heed the lessons of those who came before. Raising our swords…We ride to war! The lines of battle have been drawn. Together we fight until the dawn. Hordes of warriors rage through hell. Faring the storm of swords I fell. Soon to join the chosen few. My corpse lies in the morning dew. We ride forth knowing the cost. With deadly intent we’ll suffer the loss. Wings of ash bares me to my fate. Amongst the tombs the fallen heroes wait. Felled by many mortal wounds. Descent into the tombs. In the mist of the blackened winter moon, sit stone warriors, their stories carved in runes. Torches blazed to guide the way. Stories of old light the flame. Visions of Valkyries in the sky. Knowing, this is a fine day to die. Soon we will all reunite. Charge the field for another glorious fight. Gathered in the great golden halls. Tributes of kings adorn the walls. Corpse Fire This eerie glow in the moonlight. This inferno that feeds on the dead. Infernal flames of abhorrence. Pile up the massacred, and ignite the furnace. Burning, flesh turns to ash. Grotesque, this fest of death. Corpses, consumed by their graves. Bodies, piled up by slaves. Annihilate, all in our way. Nothing left, but charred remains. Monolith of fire. Destruction you create. No stories of glories will be told about the ones that we have slain. The corpse fire devours its victims, on this bloodstained plain. Your kinsmen know not where you’re interred. Of your exploits, the bards have not heard. You have failed to cease the field today. The corpse fire burns your memory away.
